We saw the pediatric surgeon today about Luke's belly button. He said that these things normally don't cause any problems. His son has one, and he's thirty and never had it removed. If we had it removed now, they would probably have to put him under for a few minutes, but if he decided to do it when he was older, they might be able to do it with local anesthesia. He said to keep an eye on it for signs of infection or excessive growth, but unless something comes up we can just treat it as a cosmetic issue.

Not that I'm criticizing your parenting or anything...

...but I'm glad blogs didn't exist when I was an infant...

...because my parents couldn't tell the whole world about my belly button.

In related news, I am happy to say that I have apparently found your blog again. I had lost it for a while, but now I have un-lost it. Not sure how either happened, but there you have it. Blogs can be funny things.
